What type of stats are included in DragInsights?
Currently, we offer a variety of statistics, including:
- Win percentage
- Averages (filtered by Class, Track, Year) such as reaction time, dial-in, ET, MPH, qualifying, heads-up, class eliminations, stripe margins, and comparisons of leaving first vs. leaving second.
- Class benchmarks to see how you measure up against the drivers in your class.
- Lane preference stats for national events
- Much more!
How far back do the stats go?
The statistics on Draginsights.com go back to 2015, providing a comprehensive historical perspective on drag racing performance.
Which stats DON’T you include?
We do not include statistics that may be skewed by outliers that could lead to inaccurate data. Our system is designed with specific formulas to filter out these anomalies, ensuring that the stats we provide are as reliable and meaningful as possible. For example, average RT is limited to Green Lights only and ⅛ mile runs are also not included in the database.
Can you be more specific on why you would not include certain stats?
We want to ensure we are representing a driver’s true competitive rounds only. Let’s say we have a red light victory where one of both cars coast through the finish line. A few stats we would want to keep from this race include: RT, count green or red, lane, win/loss, leaving first vs leaving second, etc. Some stats we would NOT want to keep would be: ET (if outside of set parameter), package, MPH, stripe margin.
How frequently is the data updated?
Data is updated and checked on Mondays after race weekends.
How do I search for a driver?
To search for a driver, go to the Drivers tab at the top of the page. You can perform a basic search by typing in a driver’s first name, last name, or their car number. For a more specific search, use the advanced search option, which allows you to filter by a known class that the driver competes in.
What is the “My Drivers” tab on the homepage?
The “My Drivers” tab on the homepage allows you to create a watch list of fellow competitors, making it easy to keep track of them without needing to navigate through the driver search every time. This feature helps you stay updated on the performance of your selected drivers with minimal effort.

I raced in a National Open, where is the data from that race?
Not all races have results available on Draginsights.com. This may be due to various reasons, such as issues with the track’s timing system or the sanctioning body not posting results from the event.
Why do heads-up and class eliminations have their own database?
Heads-up and class elimination races have distinct databases because drivers approach bracket-style races differently than heads-up races. To prevent contamination of statistics in either area and to enhance the usability of the data for our users, we maintain separate databases for each type of racing.
